How to Make an Easy Fall Foraged Wreath
We’ve got an easy fall foraged wreath for you to put together – you can add a few supplies with your foraging and make it with a group of friends! We guarantee that everyone’s project will look different when you’re finished!
We actually spent a few minutes foraging (playing) outside in the leaves and sticks. While there were lots of dried grasses and some round seed pods, we decided to use a few kitchen items for our wreaths.
Items We Used for our Fall Foraged Wreath
We decided to have some delicious smelling items for our wreaths so we used:
- Dried Citrus
- Cinnamon Sticks
- Star of Anise
You can see how easy it is to make dried citrus by checking out our Dried Orange Slice Garland!
Other items that we used (for building our wreaths):
- Scissors
- Jute Twine
Honestly just having everything spread out on the table was absolutely beautiful. Just the pieces alone made a gorgeous centerpiece.
But we gathered together to make wreaths so we decided to use all of our fun supplies – not to mention that it all smelled delicious!
Here are some other ideas for things that you can gather to use to make a foraged Fall wreath of your own:
- Twigs
- Dried Grasses
- Pinecones
- Acorns
- Berries
- Dried flowers
- Bark
- Fall leaves
- Flowers in fall colors
How to Assemble Your Fall Foraged Wreath
You can use a wreath form or even create a wreath form but since we were building non-traditional wreaths we decided to use sticks and tie our items to it.
We know that you’re the creative type and we’ve seen plenty of tutorials on making a wreath – we’ve shared several so this is a little different type of wall hanging.
Display Your Wall Hanging
Once you’ve finished tying on all your fun foraged items, all that’s left to do is display your creation!
You’re going to want to find a spot in your home that you walk by often so that you can enjoy the wonderful fall scents!
We hope that you find all kinds of goodies for your wreaths and we’d love it if you’d share your creations with us! You all never cease to inspire our crew with all of your fantastic ideas!
