Spring has been teasing us a little bit here in Central Texas. We’ve had some crazy warm days with sunshine and then it drops back down to cooler temps.
If you live in this type of climate you may find that you need your heat on overnight and then by the next afternoon you’re running the air conditioning.

We are focusing on spring crafts around here and today’s exploration is on spring flower pots. We’re not quite ready to plant outside yet so we’re going to decorate our pots and we’ve found all kinds of fun projects to share with you.
Clay pots are still a pretty inexpensive way to get all your plants potted, but they’re also great for crafting!

Bird Bath Clay Pot Project
We love this gorgeous bird bath that is painted in dots and stripes inspired by MacKenzie Child’s. It might feature more pinks and greens in our yard but it’s definitely eye catching!
You could also use this idea to create a bird feeder instead of a bird bath!

A Clay Pot Candle Holder by Ginger Snap Crafts
This is a fun and easy tutorial and one of the best things about it is that it takes 15 minutes or less to create this project.
We can definitely get behind that idea!

Wind Chimes made with Clay Pots
You can purchase a wind chime made with clay pots or you can DIY one yourself but you’ll need to drill some holes to hang your charms on.
In this example there are smaller pots but you could also just hang bells or charms from the top pot to create your wind chime.
Here’s a great example but you could paint any design that you love onto yours!
